SPLASH PAD TIME!

I think this week has been the longest week of my life. Ben had to go to San Fran for work this week so I am here with the munchkin puppy alone! I know it is only 4 days but I feel like it is 4 days too many! I think Tanner is sick of looking at my face. I showed him a picture of Ben today and oh the smiles he was giving was so cute! Melted my heart!

The splashpad opened this week. We literally live only a 2 minute walk from there. We are lucky to have such a fun place so close to us! It also draws the family out this way which is nice!

We went to the spashpad with my mom, sister Meagan, her two little kids Liz and Kate! It was a blast! Here are our pictures!

Excited for SUMMER BABY!

We have had the best weather lately! We are loving it! We have been outside a lot and we are so excited for the summer. We went on our first bike ride as a family! We only went for a short ride to make sure Tanner is okay with it. He enjoyed it. He is still pretty little to be in a bike buggy without proper support. We bought a attachment that is meant for babies to be able to ride. It said it was for 3-18 months. We thought that Tanner was still too small until recently.

He was a little unsure at first

But in the end he was pretty happy!

Miles, our nephew, had a soccer game this week. We thought it would be fun to attend on such a nice day. We went to Megan and Adams for dinner and then to the park behind their house for Miles soccer game. We didn't plan on everyone being there but it ended up being quite the bunch.  Grandma Olson, Ade, Zane, Mia, Ben, Tanner, Grandma Jan, Megan, Adam who is the coach of this cute little kid team and myself were there! It was fun to see Miles play, it made me excited for when Tanner gets older and can play summer sports! Tanner loved to be outside and there was so much for him to look at, which always makes him a happy baby!

Tanner was loving Grandma

We love Porter he is so dang cute!  He was so good at the soccer game.

The beautiful Winder family (minus Case)

As you can tell we have a lot to be excited about. Summer means more BBQ's, family parties, outdoor sports, swimming, and lots more time to go to park!

Tanner has started eating baby food this week. We found out that he hates rice cereal, but loves baby food. He has tried carrots and squash. Its safe to say he loves them both. Go figure Tanner is a big boy and loves food. who would have thought!

Couldn't eat it fast enough

Messy face!

Talk about a mess I think next time we will make him a "Nakey Baby" to avoid the mess!

Hope you all had a great week!

Bad Blogger!

I was thinking that I would be a great blogger because when I started blogging when Tanner was born it was fun. Then blogging about what our life is like lately was fun too. When I got all caught up, I became a lazy blogger. I apologize for not being as great as I should be. I said I was going to post a "Little Treasure" every Wednesday and, well, as you can see, I have gotten that done. I feel like I only sit down once a week to blog, so every post would be a "Little Treasure" and that might get old fast. I am hoping to blog once a week and then do "Little Treasures" about twice a month. I wont leave you with nothing, so here are a few cute pictures of Tanner in the tub. He used to hate the tub but now he loves to splash and laughs and coos the whole time. He even gets a little sad when it's time to get out.

Thumbs, Toes, & The Park

Tanner has found his thumb and his toes this week. I love it. Every time I try and change his diaper he immediately grabs his feet! He loves his thumb as well. Ben and I get ready for bed and then we go and sneak into Tanners room and watch him sleep for a minute. It is one of our favorite past times! What is better than watching a baby sleep, oh, I will tell you. Tonight when we went into Tanners room he had his feet in the air and he was sucking on his thumb! It was the cutest thing! I like that he has found his thumb because when he wakes up in the middle of the night he soothes himself back to sleep pretty quickly.

This evening we went out to Ade's (Bens sister) and had pizza, then we went to a park in Saratoga Springs with Ade and her two kids Mia and Zane. It is the coolest park I have ever seen. It has a huge pyramid, teeter totter, swings, and a lot of fun toys. We had a blast! It was the first time Tanner had been on a swing.  He loved the little pushes but  he got scarred when Ben pushed him high. It was cute!  Here are our pictures!

Happy family in the park!

Ade and I having way to much fun!

Mothers day!

I am a little late with this but here are some of the pictures from mothers day.

The morning started out like this, we went to my Grandma Ramona's house because it was her birthday! Yes, it was mothers day and her birthday. Lots of love to her! My Aunt Penny and Uncle Lee live in Montana but they came down for her birthday. It was so great to see them! (we will be going on a road trip to Montana to visit them in August!) There were quite a few awesome people there as well. It was nice to visit with Aunt Gayle, Aunt Mary, Uncle Allen, their kids, my mom, dad, Meg, Josh, and their kids.
My cute Grandma Ramona and her birthday cake

We then went to my Aunt Klissas house for a BBQ with my mothers side of the family. It was nice to see everyone there as well. (There are way to many people to name) I love getting together with family.

After the BBQ we went to my sister-in-law Megan's house. Her husband Adam had made dinner for all of us! It was delicious! He even made a special trip to the Cheesecake Factory to get all the mothers their favorite cheese cake! We had a great time.

I love all the nieces and nephews but i have a special place in my heart for little Dax. We all call him Dax-a-licious. He is so dang cute. Whenever we go there he is hooked to my hip. He has even called me mom when we are there. Sometimes when I am playing with Tanner I swear that he looks like Dax. I think they look like they could be brothers. Although they are not brothers I know they will be great friends in the years to come!

Dax, Tanner, & myself

I love my mother so much she is such a great example to me. All of my brothers and sisters went in on a gift this year for my mom. We bought her a hobo wallet. For those of you who dont know what that is, it is a brand of wallet that Nordstrom sells. We got it in her favorite color LIME GREEN!!! She loves it.

My mom took us girls to celebrate mothers day on Thursday to CPK and get our eyebrows threaded!  It was fun to get out with them.

I love being a mother! It was a great mothers day with lots of time with family. When the day settled down we got home and put our little rugrat to bed. Ben and I ate Dulce de leche Haagen Dazs Carmel ice cream while we watched the season finale of Desperate House Wives! (Yes it is one of my guilty pleasures) Ben spoiled me this year. He bought me a new waxing kit, my new favorite game called bananagram, a bouquet of red tulips, my favorite ice cream, dinner at Wingers, and a card that said so many nice things! I am one lucky mamma to have such a great husband and cute little boy! I love being Tanners mom.

Loved spending time with family!
