Team Tucker Strikes again!

My dad is truly someone to look up too! He decided that he wanted to run 50 miles. He ran a 50K not too long ago which was just a training for what was yet to come. He choose to do the 4th hardest 50 miler in the country, The SQUAW PEAK 50. He did amazing! My brother Conner ran the last 17 miles with him. We were grateful that Conner volunteered  because my dad said that had it not been for Conner he would not have made it. I can only imagine what the conversation between the two of them on those last 17 miles would have been like. I try and do 3.5 miles every morning and I feel exhausted when I am finished. I literally can not comprehend 50 miles. Here are the pictures from the exciting day.

Meg, Josh, Liz, Kate, Tanner, and myself met Tucker to refill his water and pack at the 26 mile marker. He was doing great and making great time! He said that seeing these kids was a welcome sight after 26 miles. Yes we all have TEAM TUCKER shirts! Man these kids love their PAPA

Waiting for PAPA

Looking good after 26 miles!

After that mile marker Ben and my mom drove Conner to meet him for the last 17 miles.
We then all rallied at Vivian Park to wait for them to finish!

The gangs all here (minus Tal and Jess who couldnt make it)

As you can see this was an amazing accomplishment and we were all very impressed. For those of you who know my dad, you know how great he is! He is always there to support us so it was nice to be able to be there to support him!
