We love Ben's job for many reasons. One of which is that they shut down the whole 4th of July week! We were so excited and had activities planned everyday. Too bad the sick bug came to our house. Tanner, Ben, and I were all SO sick. We still had a great week considering we were all exhausted.
We as you may know got the pass of all passes this year. With the pass of all passes, the Tracy Aviary is free on mondays. It was Tanner and I's first time there. All three of us enjoyed it.

We had a great time. The park around the aviary looks like so much fun. I think we will try and go another day when we have more time. We had to stop by the bike shop for a few things and to my surprise they had a helmet that would fit Tanner. . . oh don't worry it is a toddler helmet for kids 3-5 years of age. Man Tanner has one big brain!

I have never seen a more handsome baby in a helmet |

Love them more than words |

As you can see we had a great time.
We live in Highland and needless to say there was a giant fire in Alpine
which is right by us. They called it the Quail fire. It was amazing how
fast this fire started. It was cool to watch the different stages. Here
is what it looked like from my back yard. Sorry it is a phone picture
so I couldn't zoom in.
Pretty crazy. Thank goodness they got it out pretty quick. It also rained and I think that helped as well. I wish my phone could take pictures at night because it was pretty with the bright orange flames. This is definitely the closest I ever want to be to a fire.
