Christmas

We had such a great Christmas. We are lucky enough to have both our imidate family here. We got to spend time with both of them. We went to Bens parents house for Dinner and then to my familys house for our traditional BINGO game! We spent the night at my familys and in the morning opened presents and went to Bens house for breakfast!

It was so much fun to see Tanner open his presents. He got a tractor from Santa and loved it. We loved seeing his reaction to it!

We got spoiled this year by both our parents.
Although we received a lot it was nice to remember what christmas is all about. We are so blessed to be part of the families we are. We are so blessed to live where we do and for Bens job. We love the holidays because it brings family together.

I could not decide if we should put up our big tree this year because I knew Tanner would just go crazy with it. We decided a 4 foot tree on our side table would be the best idea. While Tanner was napping we put up the tree so when he woke up he was so excited! He also pulled down all the ornaments he could reach!  Good thing we love him! Nah it was so fun to see his eyes just light up when he saw the tree. Christmas is so much more fun with kids!

Vegas

Back in the day Ben and I would go down to Vegas any chance we got, then our little Tanner came along and he was lots more fun then Vegas! So it had been awhile since Ben and I had gone on vacation just the two of us. We decided to leave Tanner with our parents and getaway. My brother Talmage and his wife Jessica came with us.

We ate breakfast at our favorite spot called Mon Ami Gabi. It is a restaurant across from the Bellagio  hotel and we eat out on the terris and watch the water show. It was so fun.

Our pool had a section that had sand so Tal and Ben decided to have some fun! They were like children it was awesome!

We went to Freemont Street, its the old vegas strip. You can basically get anything fried we stuck with fried oreos.

It was so fun! They sung and danced like celebrities and surprisingly they were pretty great!

Guess What. . .

That is right we are expecting! We are so thrilled to be adding another cute little bug to our family! Tanner and his sibling will be 17 months apart! I wanted my kids close together so here goes nothing! I honestly love Tanner more each day and I cant even imagine what it will be like with two. I get super worried that Tanners world will just be turned upside down when the baby comes but I know he will love having someone to play with besides me! He is such a little social butterfly! He thrives when he is with other kids so I am sure this is going to be an adventure we will love every minute of it!

Halloween

We love Halloween! I say we as in Tanner and I! Ben, not so much! Although, this year he did enjoy having Tanner dress up. It was super cute! For Halloween we went to our parents work to trick or treat there. We went to our families houses to trick or treat and then to our friends Jen and Chan for the night!

 We had a great Halloween and next year I am hoping we can do a family costume! I am not sure Ben will love it!

MURDER MYSTERY PARTY!

We love Halloween. Well I guess I should say I love Halloween, Ben not so much. I think it is so fun to dress up and Ben hates it.

This year my sister Tasha threw a Murder Mystery party! It was awesome! We got to dress up and have a character. We went to her house and had a dinner murder party. While we were there Ben and I kicked some butt! We killed 3 people! We were not the original murder we just found weapons and used them to our advantage! It was fun to see everyone in character! It was the first and only murder mystery party I have ever been to and it was a blast! Tasha is going to do one every year and I am looking forward to the next already.

Gardner Village Witch Festival

It is tradition in my family that every October we go up to Gardner Village and see the Witch Festival that they put on. If you have never been it is something you should do. Gardner Village is a cute little place that has a bunch of old shops in cute cottage looking houses. During October they decorate it with a bunch of fake witches. They always have the cutest stuff! My mom is awesome and always buys us one thing every year!

Part of the tradition is that all the girls go, just the girls! That was until Tanner became part of my fan club! Now it is all the girls and Tanner! He is so lucky! We love to look at all the cute witches and fun shops.

Tanner did fabulous! He was such a happy baby and did so good in his stroller! I let him pick out something from the toy store they have there, he picked a sock monkey. He loves it, it comes everywhere with us now!
